Asian Men's Health
NPL's work with South Asian and Middle Eastern men is currently focused on MSM (men who have sex with men) and includes health promotion around sexual health and HIV issues, and other related health issues. As needed, we explore relevant identity and cultural concerns that the men may bring.
We implement a wide range of sexual health promotion and STI/HIV prevention strategies, all of which are culturally and linguistically sensitive. We also support access to community specific and generic sexual health or other services.
In practice, this means that when men turn to NPL for help, they can meet with and talk to people from their own community with the same cultural background. This ensures a stronger impact.
