Joyful Noise Choir
An inclusive, peer support singing group of people living with HIV.

Set up by Naz in 2013, Joyful Noise Choir (JNC) is the award-winning community choir for all people living with HIV held every Wednesday (2025 season dates incoming) at our office from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
If you like to sing in the shower or are a budding professional singer, Naz is the place to be!

Each week, choir members explore different aspects of musicality including voice control, vocal blending and rhythmic singing (connecting to the emotion of the song using personal experiences). Led by Choir Director Colin Vassell and Vocal Coach Stella Betton who are guaranteed to bring out your best voice.

The choir membership consists of people of multi-ethnic, faith, gender and sexual orientation – a truly inclusive and inspirational collective. JNC is open to all people living with HIV to reduce isolation, encourage social participation, and create a sense of community and, as such, has developed into one of the most vibrant services for positive people in London.
JNC is a music therapy peer support group that challenges HIV stigma and prejudice, transforms lives and creates a life changing space.
Of course! As long as they are living with HIV.
