Counselling & Wellbeing
NAZ provides counselling and psychotherapy to adult individuals and couples from Global Majority Populations and their partners living in the UK, providing support for the complexities arising due to their identities be it ethnic, gender, sexual and relational, or immigration status.

Our counsellors have a range of languages and cultural backgrounds to provide culturally aware counselling and psychotherapy care to our clients.
Our counselling service is available Monday – Friday online and at our site in Central-West London from Monday – Thursday. We are here to help you.

Couples Counselling referrals are currently paused with ambitions to resume in May.
We are not a crisis centre and do not have the capacity to provide counselling to people with active suicidal ideation and attempts. We are not able to provide counselling to people with psychiatric diagnoses such as complex PTSD, personality disorders, bipolar, and schizophrenia as it is beyond our scope.

How Counselling Can Help You
Counselling offers you a chance to have a confidential conversation outside of your circle about problems you are experiencing in aspects of your life. Sometimes it helps to talk things through with someone you are not emotionally involved with so that you can get a clearer perspective on your life, without feeling like a burden on those close to you.

Counselling is a professional relationship where you and the counsellor will work together. Your counsellor will work with you to create an environment where you can talk, share and explore, gradually coming to an understanding of your life, issues and concerns. By addressing the problem, you are taking control and showing courage, not allowing your problems to define you.

Often, we can feel divided between what others expect from us, and what we want for ourselves. Being who we want to be is not always straightforward. At Naz, we recognise that issues such as relationship difficulties, living with HIV, or being LGBTQI+, can be very difficult to accept in certain cultures. Naz endeavours to understand the pressure that this may have on you and understand what it means for you.
