ABOUT THIS SERVICE
​
We have partnered with 10 Hammersmith Broadway to offer #ItsAboutTime full sexual health screenings at our office every Tuesday from 4-7pm. These screenings will provide our community members with fast, reliable sexual health screenings in a safe and welcoming environment.
​
We advise all sexually active people to get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and syphilis. Some patients may need testing for other infections too. We recommend testing for STIs after unprotected sex with a new partner alongside your routine sexual health screenings.
​
If you have any symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection, please contact the 10 Hammersmith Broadway clinic directly, your GP, or any local sexual health clinic for advice and treatment.

We offer the following tests:

Swabs/urine tests for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea

Bloods for HIV (also HIV POCT), Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C

PrEP (pre-exposure medication for HIV prevention) provision

Oral contraception and Emergency Oral contraception

Urine pregnancy testing
-
Vaccinations for HPV, Hep B and MPOX

Window Periods:
​
An STI test may miss an infection that has been caught very recently. This is called the ‘window period’. If you’ve been exposed to an infection, we will offer you treatment at your booked appointment if we see you during this window period. Otherwise, we’ll wait for the results.
​
Gonorrhoea – 2 weeks
Chlamydia – 2 weeks
Syphilis – 6 weeks
HIV – 6 weeks
Confidentiality:

All information regarding your visit will be treated confidentially. This means that your personal details and any information about the tests or treatments you have received will not be shared with anyone outside the sexual health service without your permission. This includes your GP.
Termination of Pregnancy:

If you are considering a termination of pregnancy and are registered with a GP, you may access an appointment directly from the following services:

If you would like to order a routine STI screening to do at home, Sexual Health London offers a free home STI testing kit. Sexual Health London is an online sexual health service for people without symptoms. If you do not have any symptoms, register and complete the online consultation. If the service is right for you, a free kit will be posted out. You will need to take your own samples and return them by post for testing. The results will be available in a few days.
